Put on the circuit only recently via the buzzing Psychocandies imprint is Sascha Müller's newest digital EP named "Acid Swamp" featuring a sequence of seven tunes going by the same name and therefore might be taken off and recorded in the same recording session. With "Acid Swamp 1" we're entering a realm of fast, screaming, electroid MonoAcid for illegal warehouse parties and the follow up "Acid Swamp 2" seems to prove our thesis that all these tunes stem from the same session as the tonality and speed rides a similar wave although the modulations circuits seem to be more lively and short looped here. With "Acid Swamp 3" things are getting more brutal when it comes to pounding bassdrums, hounded claps and hi-hats like fast cutting scissors whilst the hectic sawtooth modulation stays more within a growling midrange spectrum this time before "Acid Swamp 4" provides more of a jumpy, positive Rave attitude for all those loving their Acid stripped down and their bassdrums dry like the desert. The next one is, of course, "Acid Swamp 5" which is taking the superminimalist, yet oftentimes happy approach of early Chicago Acid tunes to the fast lane and is nothing short of being a hit tune for a reason, "Acid Swamp 6" comes up with a more muscular, militant, percussive attitude crossing over between Acid and Techno and the final cut "Acid Swamp 7" brings in a chaotic, nerve wrecking multilayered wildstyle vision for the darkest hours of the night.
